Historical of Nampon Orphanage

Nampon Orphanage was started by the family of Narin Chaocharoen who have a burden to help the poor children. When he got a vision from God to serve the people, the bible, 1 Corinthians 16:15-16. He prepared his house to provide a home and assistance for the poor orphans whom are risk of becoming a victim of drug problem, human trafficking and child labor. Especially the poor orphans from the hill. They're lack of educational opportunity, living far from the civilization and hard to reach by the government officer. Then the children are easily to be dceived into the circle of drug problem, human trafficking and child labor.

Nampon Orphanage or Baan Nampon was established under the Grace and Mercy Charity. To give a protection, home and a better life for the poor orphans.

Inspiration of Narin Chaocharoen in his own words.

I was born in a poor family and far from civilization. When I was a child. I got an opportunity from World Vision Foundation of Thailand to get education and accoummodation in town. I found and touched the love of Jesus Christ. It changed my life for 30 years. Now I have family and had experiences to do my jobs with company, own business. I still believe and serve God. I hope one day I will serve Him and had opportunity to the other poor orphans for them to get good opportunity like me when I was a child.

In the end of the year 2008, when I and my family worshiped and prayed to God for leading us thourgh a new year 2009. I got a vision from God in the bible 1 Corinthians 16:15-16 as I pray and wait for the opportunity to help the poor orphans from hill whom lack of accommodation and education. I opened my house to had opportunity for all orphans. The most important they will touch the love of Jesus Christ like I had experience. I and my family quite worry about the expenses for monthly, school payment and car for transfer the to school. I asked God again about that vision. Finally He confirm my vision in His word Joshua 1:9.

His word made me decided to follow the vision and Nampon Orphanage was started for poor children.
